FORD fanatics will get their engines running next Tuesday.

Father and son racing duo Dick and Steven Johnson will be pulling in to town along with Tim Blanchard and Chaz Mostert to visit the new Emerald Ford and meet fans.

The track-legends will be at the store from 10am-1pm on Tuesday signing merchandise.

Ford Emerald sales manager Brad Goodall said the team was getting excited to welcome the drivers.

"Emerald Ford are sponsoring them in their first round at the Townsville 400, so we thought it would be great for them to visit," Mr Goodall said.

"We just wanted to do an event for the locals, building excitement and then awareness about our new location for Ford."

A dinner Monday night at the Western Gateway Motel will have an auction and giveaways. Tickets can be purchased at the motel.
