A REWARD is on offer for information about the mystery disappearance of a teenage girl who went missing from a bikie clubhouse more than a decade ago.

Kathleen Harris, 15, was last seen on Sunday, May 31, 1999, at her home which adjoined the Rebels clubhouse in Huskisson, NSW.

She was reported missing by her friend Clinton Hanlon, a member of the bikie gang, and her father after she failed to show up at a pre-arranged meeting with friends the following day.

Her purse and keys had been left in her home.

On Thursday, Shoalhaven Local Area Commander Superintendent Joe Cassar welcomed the NSW Government's offer of a $100,000 reward.

He said the teenager had simply disappeared without a trace and detectives believed she may have been murdered.

"...Someone out there knows what happened to Kathleen and we do hope the incentive of a $100,000 reward may encourage them to come forward," Supt Cassar said

"By providing that information to police, they could help bring some closure to her family who just want to know the truth."

Kathleen moved to Australia from Costa Rica in 1995.

She was described as being between 160-170cm tall with a slim build, brown to blonde cropped hair and an olive complexion.

She was last seen wearing brown corduroy jeans, a white long-sleeved top and a pair of brown strap-up boots.

Anyone with information can phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
