
RIO 2016: Americans up next for Aussie beach volleyballers
BEACH VOLLEYBALL: Three-time gold medallist Kerry Walsh Jennings and new partner April Ross await for Aussie pair Louise Bawden and Taliqua Clancy in the beach volleyball quarter-finals on Monday afternoon (12.59pm AEST) after defeating Poland.
The Australian pair lost the first set 21-15 to Kinga Kolosinska and Monkia Brzostek in the round of 16 clash on Copacabana Beach, but came back and won the next two.
The Aussies took the second set 21-16 before taking out the final set 15-11.

The Americans moved to the last eight on Saturday with a win over Italy's Marta Menegatti and Laura Giombini 2-0.
