River peak higher than 2008
THE Nogoa River at Emerald is peaking, with a latest river height of 16.05 metres
at 6am Friday.
This level is about 0.7 metres above the 2008 flood.
River levels will remain at their peak today with some rises continuing during the day in
areas away from the main river channel.
River levels at Emerald are expected to commence falling very slowly during Saturday.
