Rogue tyre smashes into elderly woman's car

AN ELDERLY woman has escaped serious injury after a rogue tyre collided with her car this afternoon.
A tyre that came off the back of a truck caused significant front end damage to the woman's Holden commodore.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Crawford on the Bunya Highway, just outside of Kingaroy at 3.55pm.
Paramedics assessed the woman for minor seatbelt injuries.
Police are investigating.
