Rosie Beaton is leaving Triple J's Super Request segment after ten years.

TRIPLE j stalwart Rosie Beaton is saying farewell to her Super Request segment after a decade at the helm.

Dubbed the Queen of Requests, Beaton took her first request back in 2001.

"I think the success of Super Request is thanks to the amazing music lovers who requested songs over the years," Beaton said, according to ABC's website.

"I've always made the show about the listeners - their stories and requests - and I really enjoy the daily interaction and programming.

"I've had the best time hosting Super Request. I'm going to miss it, but it's time for new opportunities."

The final show will be held live at the Manning Bar at Sydney University on Friday, 9 December from 6pm to 10pm.
