Ryle set for a career on catwalk

WARWICK beauty Ryle Waugh will juggle her year 12 studies with a budding career on the catwalk, after earning a modelling contract with Scoop Management.

The 16-year-old took out the third spot in the Miss Country Girl model finals in Sydney on Monday night and scored a photo shoot, modelling contract and $2000 worth of prizes.

Around 5000 girls entered the competition and Ryle took out the top spot in the Warwick finals in October.

Although the stunning teen is blessed with natural good looks her modesty had her almost miss out on the amazing opportunity.

Ryle entered the competition after being gently forced by her mother, Carmel.

"I didn't want to do it but my mum entered me and I refused to do it," Ryle said.

"But I guess it's thumbs up to mum for making me go."

Ryle will experience the life of a model today, with a photo shoot for Woman's Day.
