S Club 7's Tina Barrett is pregnant

S CLUB 7's Tina Barrett is pregnant.

The 39-year-old singer and her boyfriend Paul Cashmore, who have been dating for three years, are set to welcome their first child into the world on June 19.

The brunette beauty explained: "I have friends who've tried for years to get pregnant but we conceived within three months of trying. I know it sounds silly but it did take us by surprise - we thought it would take longer."

The couple - who first met in 2012 on the set of Russell Grant's charity musical video for 'The Clapping Song' - have decided to find out what they're expecting but want to keep it a secret until they welcome their little one properly.

Tina said: "When the nurse told us what we were having, I burst into tears. I didn't mind if we had a girl or a boy but I was so overcome with emotion that I couldn't help myself."

And, although she's yet to hit the six-month mark, the brunette beauty has already decided she doesn't want a home birth as she'd rather have an army of doctors around her for the birth.

She told the new UK issue of OK! magazine: "A home birth isn't for me. I'd rather the security of being surrounded by medical professionals. I'll definitely be having drugs, too - none of this natural stuff for me. I like the idea of a labour-themed playlist. We could play songs like S Club 7's 'Reach For the Stars'."
