UPDATE 3.30PM: Emergency crews are on the scene of a serious accident between a Warwick-based Crisps Coach and a car on the New England Highway north of Stanthorpe.

Reports from the scene are that the female student driver of the car is still trapped inside with fire and rescue officer cutting away the wreckage, but that two male students are now out of the vehicle.

The crash site is in the Braeside area, about halfway between Warwick and Stanthorpe.
