Second chance for Ed Sheeran fans

ED SHEERAN fans who missed out on tickets to his 2018 tour now have a second chance to get tickets.

The singer today announced five new stadium shows to meet demand, after thousands of fans snapped up the entire pre-sale allocations for his Australasian tour dates yesterday

A second Brisbane show is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21 at Suncorp Stadium.

Ed Sheeran said today: "I'm overwhelmed with the response, to match that record is very humbling. I really can't wait to get down there."

His 2018 stadium tour, in celebration of his third studio album ÷ , is shaping up to be one of the biggest in Australasian touring history.

Tickets for Sheeran's new Brisbane show go on sale on Tuesday at 2pm through Ticketek.

Ed Sheeran's new 2018 tour dates:

Monday 12 March - Melbourne, Etihad Stadium
