Semi set to take it up to the Bulldogs

PARRAMATTA is likely to use Fijian hulk Semi Radradra as an extra hit-up forward tonight to combat a huge Bulldogs pack which has worn down its opposition in its wins in the opening two rounds this season.

The Eels are by no means lightweights when it comes to their pack, or short on heavy hitters.

But the size and strength of try-scoring whiz Radradra is expected to be used more coming out of Parramatta's own half against the heavyweight Dogs.

The key to this game could be which of the star halves, Josh Reynolds (Bulldogs) and Kieran Foran (Parramatta), gets through the pain barrier the best.

Reynolds said through the week he felt like a 90 year-old after copping a heavy hit in the lower back from Penrith defender Dean Whare last weekend.

He went to hospital after the game in agony.

"It was a bit scary. I had blood in my urine. They were concerned I may have damaged my spleen," he said.

His rival tonight, Kieran Foran, is playing with a dicey hamstring that he admitted made him a "week to week" proposition.

This is one game where the reduction in the interchange down to eight this season could play a big part in the result.

Canterbury received a boost after forward David Klemmer escaped a contrary contact charge, handed down after he touched referee Ben Cummins during last weekend's game.
