Off with the crane as Serene Living reaches milestone

SERENE Living Australia's Tweed Heads development reached a major milestone yesterday when its crane was dismantled and taken off site.

The scaffolding and construction framework along with the crane were removed over the course of the morning, revealing the finished external structure.

Standing at 6 stories on Florence St in Tweed Heads, the site will have Australia's largest roof top garden when complete.

Close to the Tweed River, shops and hospital, the development will have a cinema, function facility, library, heated pool and spa, gymnasium, games room and the rooftop 'Oasis In The Sky'.

Turf is due to go down on the roof top garden in the next fortnight which will complete the garden in another mile stone in the construction process.
