Shed Happens is the place to be

“EVERY man has a story, and every man’s story is worth hearing”, is the motto of the organisers of Shed Happens.

Shed Happens is a once-a-month event for men over 12-years-old to discuss a range of topics important to them.

“We learn from others, we can empathise with others and we can be encouraged through others,” organiser Andrew Abbas said.

“This is what men coming along can expect as well as meeting other men and developing friendships for mutual support.”

Shed Happens is on this Monday at the Bar Arena at Emerald Showgrounds.

To beef up the night, there is a free barbecue from 6.30pm followed by three to four interviews that last for about five minutes each.

This Monday the guest speakers include interviewing a couple of men and a teenage boy, touching on a range of topics from comments on the family unit and their aspirations and heroes.
