Sienna Skies' brand new LP "A Darker Shade of Truth", will be released into the world on December 2 via Invogue records.

A second cut from the record "Where Mountain Meets Man" has seen it's premiere via InVogue Records' Youtube Account.

'A Darker Shade of Truth' is the first album with vocalist Thomas Pirozzi and captures the band's infectious energy.

Pirozzi says of the new track from the record, "The lyrics for Where Mountain Meets Man were a composite of a couple of significant times in the past two years for me.

"I lived in a Canadian Mountain town just outside of Vancouver, and the phrase "where mountain meets man" was often thrown around," he said.

"Seeing a major metropolitan area so close to such a rugged mountain range is truly something else.

"After returning home to Sydney I noticed a sudden unexpected urban sprawl.

"The idea of industry suddenly taking over the rolling hills of Western Sydney that I grew up with breaks my heart.

"Over the past two years, the music has progressed from the introductory riff, and has slowly been moulded into one of our favourite songs on 'A Darker Shade Of Truth'."

'A Darker Shade of Truth' was recorded at Electric Sun studios in Sydney's West. The album process was a homecoming for the band - their debut album "Truest of Colours" was tracked at the same studio seven years earlier.

It was produced and tracked with with Dave Petrovic (Tonight Alive, Hands Like Houses, Kerser, Thy Art is Murder) and Stevie Knight (With Confidence, Little Sea, Short Stack). The record was also mixed and mastered with Dave Petrovic.

Written over the course of 12 months and across three countries, this raw and honest album follows its own path, cohesively mixing moments of frantic intensity, addictive melody, distinguished calm and controlled aggression whilst always keeping the listener captivated and waiting for more.

The five piece have seen the world on the back of tours with Silverstein, Thy Art Is Murder, Story Of The Year, Like Moths to Flames, Hawthorne Heights and are determined to share their powerful positive message to the world through both their live show as well as the music they have poured their heart and soul into for years.

Sienna Skies' 'A Darker Shade of Truth' will be available in all good online outlets and in stores at JB Hi-Fi from Friday December 2.
