Six accused to stay behind bars over Logan murders

A MOTHER of seven is one of six people charged with the murder of a Logan man and woman.

The six appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday, each facing two counts of murder.

Logan pair Cory Breton, 28, and Iuliana Triscaru, 31 have been missing since January 24 with police alleging the six killed them.

The accused included 36-year-old Ngatokoona Marieti, a mother of seven children.

Five men - Davy Malu Junior Taiao, 21, Stou Daniels, 21, Trent Michael Thrupp, 22; Thuringia Thomas Tahiata, 24, Webbstar Latu, 31 - have also been charged with the deaths.

They appeared in court and were all remanded in custody until the matter is mentioned again on March 21.
