A TELEVISION reporter who swallowed a fly during a live cross has become something of a sensation on Twitter.

Sky News political reporter Adam Boulton was reporting live to camera in London on Tuesday after a UK Government reshuffle when a fly flew into his mouth.

He went red in the face but somehow continued to talk politics.

"Do you want to take a pause, you've been talking non-stop are you OK?," someone from the TV studio asked.

"No, I'm fine. I swallowed a fly that's all right," he replied.

TV host and journalist Piers Morgan asked Boulton "did it taste good?" on Twitter.

Another Twitter post suggested it was only a matter of time before someone makes a video of Boulton swallowing a spider, then a cat, dog, goat, cow and then a horse.
