Sonia Kruger to host Big Brother

SONIA Kruger is leaving Seven to host a revamped Big Brother when it returns to Channel Nine next year.

The Dancing with the Stars was poached with the promise of host and a daytime TV role, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Kruger succeeds one-off co-hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O, who hosted the show's last series in 2008, and Gretel Killeen, who hosted the show from 2001 to 2007.

She has been with Seven for 14 years.
