'Space ship' looking US military swarm over Brisbane
BRISBANE residents have been blown away (in some cases literally) by some alien looking US aircraft flying practice runs over the city ahead of the G20.
On Wednesday afternoon, three helicopters practised taking off and landing at Victoria Park Golf Club in Herston ahead of President Barack Obama's arrival for the summit.

Meanwhile, the Police Commissioner has declared an additional security area to manage a visit by Obama to the University of Queensland, St Lucia Campus.
Residents of the area and the public going about their general lives will find things no different than those residing in the CBD apartments or working, shopping or visiting the CBD and South Bank.
The additional declared area is proposed to begin at 8am on Friday, November 14 2014 and cease at 5pm on Saturday, November 15 2014.
While every attempt will be made to keep disruption to a minimum, people should expect that there will be traffic impacts between Brisbane City and St Lucia from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, November 15.
A copy of the map of the declared area is available at www.police.qld.gov.au/G20/maps.htm
