Springsure finds winning form

SPRINSGURE Mountain Men would have to cast their memories back to round three of the Central Highlands competition to recall their last victory. That was until last weekend, with Springsure defeating Bluff Rabbitohs 32-18, recording their second win of the season.

The latest win couldn’t have come soon enough for Springsure coach Ben Sullivan.

“We’re pretty bloody happy I can tell you that much, it’s been a long time coming,” Sullivan said.

“It was a marked improvement. Everyone seemed relaxed and just enjoying their footy which is what I wanted. I didn’t want any pressure.”
