Stardust brings big top acts
GET set to be amazed and enthralled by crazy clowns, spectacular lions and daring aerialists when the Stardust Circus hits Highlands’ towns this week. .
Owner-manager Janice Lennon said residents from Emerald and the Central Highlands could expect to be amazed by the entertainment the circus would offer.
“It’s a good old traditional circus with monkeys, lions, clowns, trapeze artists and comedy acts,” she said.
“It’s just a really good show.”
Stardust circus is Australia’s largest animal circus and has been running for the past 18 years and Janice said the most popular acts included lions and monkeys.
“All the animal acts are very popular,” she said.
“There’s a really great dog show.”
With a large flying trapeze troupe, a spectacular 10-person Hungarian-trained teeter board act, dynamic aerialists high above and acrobatic comedy, there is plenty to keep the kids occupied.
“Everyone from two years old to 102 will find something to enjoy at the show,” Janice said.
Along with some riveting performances, there will be plenty of delicious circus food on offer from dagwood dogs, to fairy floss, hot food and drinks.
Costs: child $15, adult $25 for general admission or child $20, adult $30 for front view or child $25, adult $35 ringside seats.
