Stereosonic co-founder: "Everyone is over roid up bros"

THE CO-FOUNDER of Stereosonic has come out in support of a Sunshine Coast man's rant against shirtless men looking for fights at music festivals.

Frank Cotela took to Facebook on Tuesday to weigh in on the issue following a viral video of a brawl at the Sydney event.

"Everyone is over The Roid up Bro's muscle culture, can't they just see that they are a laughing stock…

Brother EVERYONE is laughing at your Shorts, singlets, fake tans, bumbags and cartoon shaped bodies … but more importantly we are sick of the charged up violence you bring… time for a change!

If it means that we will profile you at entry point and stop you entering - you will be stopped!

40 dumb **** are not going to spoil a great day enjoyed by thousands! - #brothernoonegivesa****aboutyourbody?"

The incident has sparked plenty of online communities to fire up on social media and criticise those who took part.

Cotela's post was a show of support for Maroochydore's Joel Bevilacqua's long rant posted on Saturday.

Bevilacqua quickly gained the support of more than 45,000 people when the 20-year-old journalism student hit out at men who took any opportunity to take their shirts off to "show off" their muscles.

He also took fire at those who attended festivals simply looking for a fight as he was sick of seeing pointless violence in the community.

Stereosonic has long been known for its shirtless men to the point where it tried to introduce a "tops-on" policy in 2009.

Festival organisers tried to push the policy since then but it hasn't worked.
