IT is back-to-back titles for women's six-a-side soccer team SWAT, after scraping through with a gutsy 1-0 grand final win over Redbacks on Tuesday night.
The winning point came off the boot of Aileen O'Donnell, who found the back of the net from a cross mid-way through the second half.
However, despite the girls' resounding success, captain Shelly Walters said the win was a little of out of the blue.
"We've come from third on the ladder to win tonight,' Shelly said.
"So it (the win) was a little unexpected."
Many of the players from the 2010 premiership winning side decided to go their own separate ways at the end of last year and the team has been busily establishing its new-look side before this year's title win.
"It has been a bit of rebuilding season for us," Shelly said.
"We've had five or six new players come on board this year and we're always looking for more."
Swat faced an equally tight margin in their grand final win last year, winning 2-1.
