Taskforce to handle claims on alleged nipple-pinch masseur

A POLICE taskforce has been set up to handle a flood of complaints against an accused nipple-pinching masseur at Coffs Harbour.

Almost 50 charges relating to the alleged indecent assault of 41 women have already been laid and dozens more women are expected to be interviewed in the coming weeks.

Timothy Moffatt, 66, is accused of using his remedial massage services to inappropriately touch women.

His alleged victims are aged between their early 20s and late 50s.

He is also charged with one count of sexual assault.

Taskforce Trotline has been established to continue the investigation.

Coffs/Clarence Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Darren Jameson has described the alleged assaults as a "significant breach of trust" and urged anyone with information to come forward.
