Teen girl's torture hell

A QUEENSLAND couple, who lured a 13-year-old girl into their home and subjected her to nearly 15 hours of sexual and physical torture, were high on methamphetamines, a court has been told.

The 33-year-old woman and 42-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court in Brisbane today to 30 charges, including 13 counts of rape and seven counts of indecently dealing with a child, for what was described as being one of the worst sexual attacks in the state's history.

The woman pleaded guilty to an additional charge of attempted murder.

The 13-year-old girl was bound and gagged and then subjected to dehumanising, sadistic sexual abuse during the evening of April 16, 2010 and into the next morning, prosecutor Michael Byrne, SC, told the court.

The couple lured the girl to their Bellthorpe home, about 90 kilometres north-west of Brisbane, through text messages, in which they posed as the woman's daughter inviting the child for a sleep over.
