Teenager robs Hervey Bay business and takes off on bike

A TEENAGER robbed a couple of Fitbit watches from an electrical store in Hervey Bay before fleeing on his bike. 

Hervey Bay Police Acting Sergeant Sonia Edwards said police caught up the 19-year-old at the Seafront Oval on Charlton Esplanade on Monday about 5pm. 

Acting Sgt Edwards said the man wasn't wearing a helmet. 

The Bundaberg teen has been charged for stealing from JB Hi-Fi and is due to appear in Hervey Bay Court on March 24.
