Survey deadline near

THE Central Highlands Regional Council asked residents to have their say about the future of the region and hundreds have taken the opportunity, but there’s still time for more before the deadline on June 30.

“We are very happy with the level of interest that has already been shown for this project, demonstrated through the number of surveys that we’ve had returned,” Mayor Peter Maguire said.

He said the Central Highlands 2022 – Creating Tomorrow Together project was about giving every resident the opportunity to voice their opinions and future aspirations for the region.

“Council will use resident’s valuable feedback to develop a new 10-year community plan, which will provide a framework for our region’s future,” he said.

There are a number of ways that residents can complete the CH2022 Community Plan Survey. It is available online. Printed copies of the survey are also available at all council service centres and libraries.

Residents who complete a survey by June 30 can also go into the draw for a $2000 voucher to spend at any business or organisation in the Central Highlands.
