Their own style and ‘all that jazz'

MUNGOROLLOJAZZ plays what is referred to as “the standard jazz repertoire” mainly bossa nova and swing such as well known tunes like Girl From Ipanema, Summertime and Corcovado with a Latin flavour, as well as some swing tunes such as Sonnymoon For Two, Night Train and Billie's Bounce.

These tunes are by jazz greats such as Sonny Rollins, Charlie Parker and Antonio Carlos Jobim.

Rolando Fernandes is from Argentina and plays electric bass and double bass.

He has toured with Phil Emmanuel and has worked with many outfits on the Sunshine Coast over the past 20 years.

Mungo and Rollo share a love of all forms of jazz and have been jamming for the past four years together and look forward to sharing it with you all at Mary Street.
