POLICE are investigating after three people were injured in a T-bone crash along Bli Bli Rd at Bli Bli this morning.

Dramatic footage shows the moment a Ford Falcon slammed into the side of a Honda CRV doing a U-turn about 8.30am outside the Clayton's Towing depot and JC Hire.

A police spokeswoman said the impact was so hard the CRV became airborne, landed down an embankment and skidded sideways about 30m before coming to a stop.

The 49-year-old driver and his nine-year-old son were taken to hospital with minor injuries as a result.

The driver of the Falcon, a 45-year-old NSW man, was also hospitalised.

The police spokeswoman said the crash was under investigation.

Paramedics were called to the crash on Bli Bli Rd, outside the Clayton's Towing depot and JC Hire, about 8.30am, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.

Three people were treated at the scene before being taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital. All were in stable conditions.
