The Ting Tings pull out of Splendour

THE Ting Tings will no longer be a headline act at Splendour in the Grass 2010 and have been replaced by Sydney-band Art V Science.

"Splendour organisers regret to announce that The Ting Tings are no longer able to perform at the 2010 event," a media release revealed on Monday.

Management of the band confirmed that 'due to the rescheduling of the next Tings Tings album to later in 2010 the band sadly have decided to delay their Australian tour and this of course means they will not be able to play Splendour in 2010.'

The British indie pop duo, who shot to fame with single That's Not My Name in 2008, had four shows booked for Australia, including performances in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Woodford.

Australian band The Middle East have also pulled out of the festival and will be replaced by Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Sally Seltmann (previously known as New Buffalo).
