Torture charges after alleged abduction in Bundaberg

THREE men have been charged over alleged torture that left a man hospitalised with burns and head injuries.

Police will allege the man, 39, was abducted from his Bundaberg home about 8.20am on Monday, forced into a car and taken to another location where he was tortured.

Officers found the man at Tarakan Street in the city's inner south about 1pm.

He was rushed to the Bundaberg Base Hospital with serious injuries to his head and face as well as burns to his upper body, arms and neck.

Police say the attack was over a small amount of money the alleged victim owed the trio.
