Fowl mess: Frozen chickens block Pacific Hwy after crash

FROZEN chickens were scattered across the Pacific Highway early on Sunday morning after a b-double transport truck fell on its side and spilt its load, 50 metres north of Wardell.

Police inspector Brad Walpole said the accident happened just after 4am and nobody was seriously hurt in the accident.

An investigation showed the truck driver over-corrected his steering on a turn and lost control, he said.

Highway traffic was delayed until 2pm.
