THE twin brothers charged in relation to the alleged murder of Leeton High School teacher Stephanie Scott chose not to appear in court on Wednesday.

Vincent Stanford, accused of raping and murdering the 26-year-old teacher in April, and his twin brother Marcus, charged with being an accessory after the fact, chose not to appear by video link in Griffith Local Court, the ABC reported.

Both cases were adjourned to November.

No bail applications were made.

Both men have been in custody since their arrests and neither has entered a plea.

Ms Scott disappeared on April 5, Easter Sunday, only days before her wedding.

Her burnt remains were found on April 10 in a national park about 70km from Leeton.
