WE found out which side of the marriage equality debate Israel Folau sits on from Twitter. Now we know how NRL Immortal Andrew Johns will be voting thanks to a brilliant Instagram post.

The "Eighth" dug up an old classic photo of him and former Newcastle Knights teammate Billy Peden locking lips over a schooner to express how he'll vote in the same-sex marriage postal survey.

In a week that saw Wallabies star Folau face a torrent of abuse for his "vote no" tweet, Joey has taken a lighter approach to the subject, captioning his Instagram post: "2 boys from Cessnock will be voting yes. Ha ha sorry bill".

The post comes on the back of nearly every major sporting body in Australia throwing their support behind the marriage equality campaign.

Thanks for being you, Joey.
