Three separate crashes on Bruce Highway causing delays

UPDATE:

THE three crashes on the Bruce Highway this afternoon have been cleared.

Traffic is believed to be flowing again on the Bruce Highway at Eumundi.

Some congestion still remains on the Bruce Highway near Forest Glen.

UPDATE:

THERE is now reported to be a third crash on the Bruce Highway.

A QPS media spokesman has confirmed that second crash involving a truck and car has occurred only 500m up the highway from a previous crash in Forest Glen.

He said that tow trucks were currently on scene for both crashes with at least one car required to be towed.

It's believed that no one has been injured in either crash.

Delays are expected.

EARLIER:

EMERGENCY services are responding to two separate crashes on the Bruce Highway this afternoon.

Paramedics were called to an incident on the Bruce Highway in the southbound lanes near Forest Glen, 400m north of the BP service station, at 3.18pm.

A QAS media spokewoman said three ambulance crews were on scene and were currently treating one male patient.

It's believed that a car had crashed into the centre median strip.

Delays are expected.

There are also delays southbound on the Bruce Highway near Eumundi after an earlier crash.

The first crash occurred in the southbound lanes near Eumundi.
