FORMER Wallabies lock Dan Vickerman has made his last tackle.

Vickerman, who played 63 Tests for Australia and earned 86 Super Rugby caps (33 for the Brumbies and 53 for the Waratahs), retired from all forms of rugby yesterday.

The 33-year-old has been unable to play this year due to a stress fracture in his right tibia.

His last Test was against the All Blacks in the 2011 World Cup semi-finals.
