Victoria Police hunt gunman following drive-by shooting


VICTORIAN police are searching for a gunman after a drive-by shooting in Sunshine West, one of seven shootings in or near Melbourne in the past week.

A car stopped at the corner of Angus and Bell streets at 8:30pm when a second vehicle pulled alongside.

Two men in the second car both pulled out hand guns with the driver firing into the rear of the other car, witnesses told police.

Police said it was a shocking and traumatic incident for those in the car but no-one was injured

Police are searching for the gunmen.
