Video captures moment child jumps up after being hit by van

Warning: Video contains disturbing footage.

CCTV footage has emerged showing the moment a young Chinese boy jumps up and runs away after being run over by a van.

According to the Daily Mail, the young boy, Siu Ho, ran into the path of a van while playing in an alley in Jining city in the Shandong province.

The driver appears not to have seen him as he made no attempt to slow down before hitting the child.

The van drove away afterwards, oblivious to the fact he'd run the boy over with both tyres.

Sui jumps to his feet immediately after the accident, taking a few steps before crouching over in pain.

The boy is said to have suffered injuries to his face and legs but his family were thankful his injuries weren't more serious.

Police deemed it to be an accident and the driver won't be charged.
