THE LNG ship Seri Bakti arrived at the Santos GLNG site at Curtis Island this morning.
The ship entered Gladstone Harbour at around 7:30am and was alongside the Santos GLNG jetty by around 9am.
The ship loading systems will undergo testing, before it delivers Santos GLNG's first LNG cargo to South Korea in coming weeks.
"This is a very exciting time for our company and we look forward to safely dispatching our first LNG cargo in the near future," Santos Vice President Downstream GLNG Rod Duke said.
"Bringing the first GLNG production train on line safely for our customer Santos GLNG is another important step forward to full delivery of all six trains on Curtis Island," Bechtel LNG general manager of the business line Alasdair Cathcart said.
