VIDEO: Two cars smashed as driver ignores red light

A TWO car smash at a major Queensland shopping centre has been caught by a dashboard camera.

A silver Mitsubishi Magna can be clearly seen travelling through a red light in front of the Morayfield Shopping Centre in south-east Queensland, as a second car is exiting the plaza.

The force of the impact spins the Magna into the post of the traffic light.

It is unclear if there were any injuries.

Since the video was posted on Dashcam Owners Australia's Facebook page on Monday, the video has garnered more than 156,000 views, more than 2000 likes, 713 shares and 835 comments.
