VIDEO: Woman hit by car while listening to headphones

A MELBOURNE woman is lucky to be alive after she was struck by a car after walking on to the road without looking.

The video from Dash Cam Owners Australia shows the vehicle travelling along the far left lane when a young woman walks in front.

It appears as though she has her headphones in her ears.

The Facebook post suggests that despite the shock, she was OK aside from "a few scuffs here and there".

Ambulance officers and police also attended.
