Volunteer to spread anti-cancer message

CANCER Council Queensland is looking for volunteers from Emerald to help deliver vital cancer prevention and early detection messages to their communities.

Volunteers are needed to keep up with demand for the popular Community Speakers Program, an adult education program where trained volunteers deliver free presentations about cancer to community and support groups, social clubs and workplaces.

No medical knowledge is required and training for new speakers will be held at locations across Queensland in February 2012.

Contact Kellie Sullivan on 4932 8606 or email for more information.
