Walk into Wonderland this weekend

LADIES dust off your favourite cocktail dress and find yourself a great headpiece because the second annual Sip and Style is coming back to Clermont.

The fundraiser for Clermont Kindergarten and Day Care Centre is on Saturday, October 29, and promises to be bigger and better than last year's inaugural event.

This year's ladies night will be held at the Clermont Civic Centre from 6pm until midnight.

Last year's Sip and Style was such a success that it raised $12,000, which along with grant funding allowed stage 1 of the upgrades to be completed in April this year.

Following this success and with the support of the local community, it was decided the event had to be held annually.

The theme for this year's Sip and Style is 'Wonderland'.

Organisers are hoping for an abundance of colourful cocktail dresses accessorised with imaginative yet elegant headpieces.

This year's entertainment will be provided by former The Voice contestant Tameaka Powell.

The event will also feature a fashion parade, unlimited access photo booth and an auction.

MasterChef 2016 contestant Miles Pritchett is the Master of Ceremonies and he is recreating a signature dessert for three lucky VIP ticket holders.
