Wallabies to face Les Bleus in three-Test tour

THE Wallabies will take on France in a three-Test series in Australia during next year's Super Rugby break.

It will be the first tour Down Under by a French Test side since 2009 when it lost 22-6 to the Wallabies in Sydney. The three Tests will be played in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, with the first game at Suncorp Stadium on June 7.

Melbourne's Etihad Stadium will host the second match a week later, with the tour wrapping up with the third Test at Allianz Stadium in Sydney on June 21.

The last time the teams played each other was in the Wallabies' opening 2012 Spring Tour match in Paris, the home side winning 33-6.

Israel Folau (pictured) and his teammates will be keen to avenge that defeat under new coach Ewen McKenzie.

In the previous Tests between the sides, Australia has won 23, France has won 17, while two games have been drawn.
