Warm up your voice for the Rotary Carols

THE vocalists are warming up their voices, the band is tuning its instruments - all that is missing to complete the Central Highlands Rotary Carols is you!

So make sure you come along and join the community chorus of Christmas carols this Sunday.

The annual Rotary Carols is at the St Patrick's School oval, starting from 6pm.

Soloists and Small Group Singers organiser Monique Podolak extended an invite to the whole community to come along for the festive celebration.

"We start with The Combined School's Christmas Carol Choir, then the Community Christmas Band, our Community Christmas Choir, Sing Australia, guest solos, duets, small groups and finally Santa,” she said.

"It is a wonderful family night, full of singing and laughing that brings our community together.”

Among the highlights not to be be missed, Monique said, are the students performing in the combined children's choir.

Rotary Club members will be hard at work, not only organising the event, but also cooking up a feast at the barbecue and selling drinks.

Monique encouraged families to get comfortable by bringing chairs and blankets to sit on, along with snacks to enjoy.

And why not get in the Christmas spirit and come dressed up in your best festive get-up.

"Santa knows who's naughty and nice, so come along and see what he has for you,” Monique said.
