We will fight for our farms

CUT to the core, their way of life is under threat like never before from coal mining, say Golden Triangle food bowl farmers and they are fighting back.

Yesterday, they fronted the LNP’s Campbell Newman, demanding he give an iron-clad guarantee their prime agricultural land would be protected from mining if his party won government.

Almost 90 disgruntled primary producers gathered at Sam and Lizzie Bradford’s Arcturus Downs to send a strong, clear message to all political parties, “We are motivated, educated and dedicated... we will hold you to account.”
