Wet makes Muster more fun: John

IF any performer is qualified to reflect on 30 years of the Optus Gympie Music Muster, it's John Williamson.

"Where would we be without the Gympie Muster?" John pondered at this year's event.

"I've done it since the Webb brothers' opening show, so I've done just about every one you can do 'cause they usually don't have you every year."

As for the rain, it didn't bother John. In fact, he thinks sometimes Muster is more fun when it does rain.

"They've all got their Driza-Bones and they're all ready for it. And, for those people who aren't normally in the bush, they can be weekend stockmen. It just adds a great atmosphere to the whole thing."

John took some time out just before he hit the Main Stage on Sunday night to talk to the Gympie Times for an exclusive video interview.

From Chad Morgan's teeth to city folk getting bogged, retirement and the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli, it's all in the video below.
