Lee Kernaghan is heading to Emerald on October 28.

LEE Kernaghan is looking forward to his upcoming concert in Emerald and says it will be "one great night".

"This will be the highlight of my year, especially when I sing Australian Boys," he said.

Lee's song, Australian Boys, has special meaning to the area as he makes mention of Emerald in the song.

"I just wrote it in when we were putting it together, that part has always inspired me," he said of the two-line reference. I have never performed the song in Emerald and it will be a huge highlight for me to do it."

For one lucky couple, their highlight of Lee's concert could be winning VIP tickets and all of his 10 albums personally signed.

To win tell us in 25 words or less what would be on the menu if you had Lee Kernaghan come over for a backyard barbecue.

Send entries along with your name, address and daytime phone number to: Lee Kernaghan concert, PO Box 259, Emerald, QLD 4720.

The competition closes Friday, October 21, at 5pm.
