
Woman airlifted after car hits tree south of Gympie
A WOMAN whose car smashed into a tree south-west of Gympie was airlifted to Brisbane in a critical condition on Monday afternoon.
RACQ Careflight took the call to pick up the woman at 4.30pm after her car veered from Mary Valley Road.
Medicos say she had "multi-trauma injuries".
She was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
