Woman, baby injured in Warrego Hwy crash

A WOMAN and baby have been taken to hospital following a traffic crash east of Toowoomba this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the single vehicle crash on the Warrego Hwy near Postmans Ridge shortly before 7am.

The woman, aged in her late 20s, had managed to free herself and her child from the wreckage by the time emergency services arrived on scene.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics assessed the pair at the crash scene before they were transported to Toowoomba Hospital as a precaution.

They travelled in a stable condition.
