Woman dead, two men critical after horrific rollover

UPDATE: POLICE are working to notify the family of a woman killed in an horrific crash at Jondaryan this morning.

Forensic Crash Unit Senior Constable Jon Reid said the vehicle had been travelling back towards Jondaryan when it rolled.

He said the five people in the vehicle were not local to the Darling Downs region.

"I can confirm one person was deceased and two people are in a serious condition," he said.

"It appears they were heading back to Jondaryan."

He said investigators were working to identify the deceased woman's next of kin, and the families of the two men in hospital.

The severely damaged duel cab four-wheel drive ute had been cleared from area by 10.30am.

"The vehicle had a lot of damage to it," Snr Const. Reid said.

EARLIER: 

A WOMAN is dead and two men are in a critical condition in hospital after a car rollover about 4am today.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the fatal crash that occurred on Jondaryan Evanslea Rd at Jondaryan.

Initial investigations suggest that just before 4am, a vehicle with five people inside rolled along the road.

A 30-year-old woman died at the scene.

Two men were taken to Toowoomba Hospital where they remain in a critical condition.

One man and the 28-year-old male driver sustained minor injuries.
